"King of the Que" Competition at Blues and BBQ Fest July 20

THE GREAT AMERICAN BLUES & BARBEQUE FESTIVAL presents:
 THE “2014 KING OF THE QUE” COMPETITION
 
The Great American Blues & Barbeque Festival will be held on Sunday, July 20th, 2014. This event will be held on Fourth Street in downtown San Rafael.
 
The Festival celebrates San Rafael and Marin’s outstanding heritage of great music, its world famous musicians and the great American roots of the blues.  Performances of local and national blues artists will be featured on the main stage.  Food concessions and the competition focuses on the great American original, Barbeque, in all its glory.  The presentation follows loosely the Kansas City Barbeque Society guidelines.
 
If you think you have what it takes to be crowned "King of the Que" sign up to be a competitor.  Entries will be judged in the categories of Top Taste, and/or ribs, and/or brisket, and/or pulled pork.   Trophies will be awarded to First, Second and Third Places and the “2014 King Of The Que” Crown for the overall supremely best barbeque in America.
