How to do well by doing good: San Rafael author Bruce Burtch show us how!

For profits and nonprofits Unite!

Bruce Burtch is called the "Father of Cause Marketing" and has done some amazing work over the past 35 years in the Bay Area and beyond connecting organizations that in turn help the greater good.  Because his work connects government, education, nonprofits and for-profits it has great value in these tough economic times and is of interest to all who want to "do well by doing good."

Now everyone can benefit from his "know how."  The how-to has been laid out in his new  book called "Win-Win for the Greater Good."
Bruce will also be conducting a first time ever workshop on the subject of building cross-sector partnerships on September 6th called "Glowing your Business" at the Sheraton Hotel in Petaluma.

Cross-sector partnerships didn't have a name when Mr. Burtch conceived the partnership between the March of Dimes and Marriott Corporation 35 years ago.  Now cross-sector partnerships are nearly a $2 billion industry!  We can say the concept was born here in the Bay Area with Bruce named its father by the Cause Marketing Forum.

Mr. Burtch has put his know-how into a highly readable guidebook called Win- Win for the Greater Good that offers step-by-step instruction on how an organization of any size from any sector can build highly productive partnerships.  The book, launching Oct. 10th , provides a proven-effective process on how to significantly increase revenue, raise employee satisfaction, expand market share, enhance brand recognition and benefit the community all while creating a greater good.

"I wrote this guidebook because I have seen thousands of organizations from all sectors struggling through the recent economic times. I have seen and still see a lot of pain and a need for help and real answers. Yet I know from experience that there is an extraordinary amount of opportunity lying in wait for the right combination of partners, on any issue, in any sector, in any small town or metropolitan city, in any corner of the world. Cross-sector partnerships can be extraordinarily successful when these partners join together for their individual and mutual success, while focusing on creating benefit for the greater good."

Advanced praise for Win-Win:

“Win-Win for the Greater Good provides the “how to” blueprint for organizations of any size and from any sector to build highly productive partnerships.  It reveals the true essence of success - focusing on the business objectives of your partner, while striving together to create a greater good.”

                                                             Casey Sheahan CEO, Patagonia, Inc.

A "must read" for any organization. Through real stories and his deep experience, Bruce Burtch proves that magic can happen when a partnership is focused on creating a greater good."
