Tdap Immunization Clinics at Local Schools

New California law requires students entering grades 7 through 12 to provide proof of Tdap immunization to enter school in the fall of 2011. Tdap immunization clinics have been scheduled in August.

New rule for school.  All 7th to 12th graders need a whooping cough (Tdap) shot before entering school this year.  New California law requires students entering grades 7 through 12 to provide proof of Tdap immunization to enter school in the fall of 2011.

Tdap immunization clinics have been scheduled in August to assist school families in meeting the new state law requirements.

All clinics will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

  • Monday, August 15: Tamalpais High School, Gus Classroom
  • Tuesday, August 16: Sir Francis Drake High School, Drake Student Center
  • Wednesday, August 17: , Gymnasium                    
  • Friday, August 19: Marin County Office of Education, Marin Room
  • Monday, August 22: Novato School District, Hill Middle School Multi-Use Room

Shots for children with Medi-Cal or Kaiser are available at no cost. For all other students, the charge is $32 payable by check or the exact amount in cash.
