Where Are You Watching Game 1 of the 2012 World Series?

World Series kicks off Wednesday at AT&T Park. We have all the info on schedules and tickets, and we want to hear how you think the series will go.

From the Deuce and the Silver Peso to Nave's, the Flatiron and Moylan's, Marin has a slew of great sports bars to watch the San Francisco Giants battle the Detroit Tigers in Game 1 of the 2012 World Series Wednesday night.

So the question is not if but where you are watching Game 1. First pitch is set for at 5:07 p.m. at AT&T Park.

  • Are you heading to a sports bar?
  • Prefer the comfort of your own home (and the choice of Kruk and Kuip on the radio over Fox's team of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver)?
  • Or are you big time and heading to AT&T Park?

The Giants stormed into 2012 World Series Monday night by scorching the St. Louis Cardinals 9-0 behind the undaunted pitching of Matt Cain and the mind-boggling hitting performance by Marco Scutaro. The Tigers, boasting Cy Young and AL MVP candidates in Justin Verlander and Miguel Cabrera, respectively, are an even more daunting foe.

Let us know in the Comments below where you are watching the game and why! And see below for a full World Series schedule.

In Novato, some other strong options besides Moylan's are Finnegan's Marin, Ghiringhelli PIzzeria, Hilltop 1892, Maya Palenque, Phyllis' Giant Burger and Toast. What other places have good-sized TVs and good menus?

In Mill Valley, go to The Cantina. They have a huge theater-style screen set up and the best bartender in Marin is working there tonight.

Hey Patch, Exhausted from game 6 and 7 but I am back in the bleachers tomorrow night for game two. Tonight I'll be DVR'ing the telecast and syncing my MLB app up so that I can listen to the golden voices on KNBR. I also think that the I HEART RADIO app broadcasts KNBR with a delay.... No reason to miss out on our hometown announcers. Not that I'll need them but I do have tickets for game 6 and 7.... World Series!!! Hummmmm Baby! LET'S GO GIANTS!!!....Moylan's will be rockin' come about 4pm.

In Corte Madera, Rick's Wine Cellar has two large screen HD televisions to watch the World Series. There's not a bad seat in the house! Come cheer on the SF Giants at Rick's!

I don't watch sports. Are the Giants the ones with the pinty ball or the ones that hit with sticks?
