New Deli Closes for a Few Days

The new restaurant closed for a few days, and will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 12.

Deli goers will have to have an alternative lunch option the next couple of days, since the new in Montecito Plaza will be closed to straighten out a few kitchen kinks.

The San Francisco deli opened its second location on Jan. 4. The restaurant quickly bustled with eager patrons, ordering hot pastrami sandwiches and other deli delights.

Then, on Sunday, owner Robby Morgenstein wrote on their Facebook Page:

"I feel our team needs to retool the cooking spaces and get some more thourough training to keep up with such a great response. We are going to spend the next four days changing out some cooking equipment and sending our team to deli service school and we will reopen with our permanent schedule on Thursday the 12th of January at 8 a.m. "

Guess I will settle for a grocery store pastrami sandwich until then.
