Big Brother & The Holding Company at George's

Evolving out of the San Francisco rock scene of the 1960s,Big Brother & The Holding Company is best known as the band that featured Janis Joplin as their lead singer, was in the forefront of the psychedelic music movement that produced the Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Jefferson Airplane. Their 1968 album “Cheap Thrills” is considered one of the masterpieces of the psychedelic sound of San Francisco and it reached number one on the Billboard charts, and was ranked number 338 in Rolling Stone 's the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door - plus any additional ticket agent fee

Advanced tickets are available online up until 5:00 pm the day of the event. After 5:00 pm, available tickets can be purchased at the door. NOTE: It is not guaranteed that tickets will be available at the door for any event at George's Nightclub.
