Beat the Holiday Crush When You SHOP LOCAL
Beat the holiday crush and "Shop Local for Schools" at participating Downtown San Rafael retailers and restaurants on Tuesday, Nov. 29. When you spend money here, you are investing in local jobs and public education. More than 50 downtown merchants will donate a percentage of the day's sales to the HeadsUp San Rafael Public Education Foundation in support of San Rafael City Schools and its 6,300 students. Look for red Shop Local balloons and posters at participating businesses, and tell them "I'm a Shop Local customer." Maps listing merchants will be available downtown and at www.headsupsr.org.
