What do they offer?

Ideal Stationers is a business where customers can find a wide array of unusual products and services, including gifts, toys, board games, the very popular Webkinz, frames, art supplies, seasonal decorations, cards for every occasion and gift wrapping, not to mention the best collection of stickers and scrap booking materials around.

Who are they?

Ideal Stationers can be found in several Marin locations; San Rafael, Strawberry in Mill Valley and Novato. The owners are local Marin residents and San Rafael store manager Debbie Rinne has been in charge since 1990.

How long have they been there?

As the second of the three spots, the Northgate One store has been open and serving with a smile since 1989.

Why are they in our business spotlight?

Ideal Stationers believes in personalized service. The managers and employees will go the extra mile for customers. If a product isn’t available, they will call around or order it in. Friendly faces abound at this very fun business, where shopping is enjoyed by all, including parents, children and adults of every age. This is a niche establishment as Ideal Stationers is price competitive with big box stores when it comes to computer and ink cartridge supplies, yet offer hard-to-find speciality items. Patrons love the ability to come in for paper, ink and computer products and at the same time, pick up a gift.

Did you know?

The doors welcome customers seven days a week, in rain or shine. Ideal Stationers is open from 8 a.m. to 9p.m., Monday through Friday, Saturdays, 9a.m. to 7p.m. and Sundays, 10a.m. to 6p.m. It is one of the few stores open early and late enough for busy people to run errands when it’s most convenient for their schedule.
