Who are they?
Susy Hernandez was born in Bolivia. As a young child, she moved to San Francisco with her parents and siblings. They grew up in San Francisco but moved to Marin during Hernandez's senior year in high school. After high school, Hernandez went to the University of San Francisco and graduated with a degree in finance. She worked for several different companies prior to opening up Celebracion.

Hernandez and her husband Cedric knew they wanted to open a business in San Rafael. After some research, they settled on a gift shop on Fourth Street. Within a year of opening, they noticed a huge demand on formal wear, especially quinceañeras. So, the couple decided to make the move from a gift shop to a bridal store. Now they serve clients from all counties as far as Madera.

What do they offer?
Celebracion has all the items one might need for weddings, quinceañeras, baptisms, first communions, evening wear, proms and graduations. They also sell invitations, party favors and shoes for women and children.

Hernandez likes to think of Celebracion Bridal and Tuxedo as "a family helping out another family with their special event." The store prides itself on delivering the highest customer service by really getting to know their clients and working directly with them.
