Who's the Priciest Musical Act at the Marin County Fair? The Answer May Surprise You

This year's lineup includes the likes of Weird Al Yankovic, the Pointer Sisters, Eddie Money and Ozomatli.

The Marin County Fair kicks off July 3. Tens of thousands are expected to turn out for an array of attractions, from rides and games to food, music and all sorts of exhibits, this year built around the "Schools Rule" theme and featuring a robotics competition, a spelling bee and a science fair.

But one of the fair's biggest draws each year is the live music, and this year's performances include some old favorites, some standout West Coast groups and even a teen pop singer and Disney Channel star.

So who commands the biggest pay day? With the Marin County Board of Supervisors approving contracts with each of the nine music acts, the artists' Marin County Fair earnings are public information.
