Want to hum "You're the One that I Want" and "Grease Lightning" this summer? Join the cast of Grease at the San Rafael Community Center for this classic musical. Performances continue until July 22.

Gator Beat is a well-known and much followed Cajun/Zydeco and New Orleans R&B band out of Sonoma, Calif. They are a hard hitting, hand-clapping, foot-stomping, high energy concert and dance band, known to fans as "The Band With A Beat That Bites."

They have a following throughout the West Coast and on up into British Columbia where they have performed at many festivals over the past 20 years.

Some venues include Gator By The Bay in Mountain View, The Britt Festival in Jackson, Or., Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, Breaux Bridge Festival (Louisiana), and founded the Sebastopol Cajun Festival in conjunction with the Rotary Club.

Marin Shakespeare Company continues its 2012 summer festival season with A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Shakespeare at the height of his poetic skill weaves a dream-like story of true love, fairy antics and moonlit lunacy. Robert Currier directs this outdoor production which transports the action to the romantic shores of mystical Hawaii, where foolish mortals love, play and fight under the gaze of the Tiki gods. The scent of hibiscus and twang of ukuleles will permeate Shakespeare's story of "lunatics, lovers and poets."

Time: 2 p.m.

Begin uour journey of cultivating inner and outer beauty with a special Nia class, led by Sarah Caveney, focussing on letting your radiant lights shine through. This class will be followed by “Age-Defying Asanas” with Alison, a yoga class focused on  creating youthfulness and beauty in your body. Then you’ll be pampered by Sarah Badorine  with hands on organic home skin care instruction featuring Sequoia Beauty Products.
