Petty Theft, the Tom Petty tribute band, will play at a free concert at Northgate from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 24.
The performance is part of the mall's Concerts Under the Oak series and takes place at Oak Plaza near the Kohl's store.
Some seating is available but audience members are encouraged to bring their own.

Panera Bread will feature a custom menu of items for purchase, and BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse will have their signature beers available for $5 a glass for those 21 and older. A quarter of the proceeds from the food and beverage sales will be donated to MarinLink and Promenade Celebration to help continue building the Promenade on the perimeter of Northgate.
