It's Begining to Look a lot like Christmas this Weekend

Trade in your Christmas lights that no longer sparkle, buy a tree, see a ballet classic and more.

So, what do you have planned this weekend? Looking for some ideas? Well then, take a look at what's on the San Rafael Patch Events Calendar.

-Have old holiday lights that no longer twinkle? California Youth Energy Services (CYES), a program of the nonprofit organization Rising Sun Energy Center, will team up with the on Satruday and Sunday from 12p.m.-5p.m. for a holiday light swap event. , and we will swap them for brand new, energy-efficient LED holiday lights (color and white strings). All at no charge.

-Need a Christmas tree? The Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise’s Christmas tree lot will be open for business from Nov. 26 through Dec. 23 at their usual scenic location–the in San Rafael. Lot hours are 10a.m. - 6p.m. on the weekends and 3p.m. - 6p.m. weekdays.

-The Stapleton Ballet presents their original version of Tchaikovsky's holiday classic . Now in its 23rd year, the Stapleton Ballet production vividly brings to life this timeless tale, as Clara’s Nutcracker is transformed into a prince to battle the evil Mouse Queen. Tickets are $32.
