North Bay Scratch Day

Calling all kids and educators interested in computers, gaming and animation! Scratch is fun, free, user-friendly software that makes it easy to explore the world of computer programming and animation. On May 21st, Scratch Day, people around the world will be holding events to teach kids and teachers about the wonderful world of Scratch programming.

Come to Dixie School's computer lab to learn more about Scratch, try it yourself, and learn about opportunities to interact with other Scratchers and educators using Scratch in their classrooms.

Scratch was developed at MIT and is funded by the National Science Foundation, Microsoft, Google and Intel. It runs on both Windows and Mac operating systems and is very easy to download, install and use.
