Marin County Fair Golden Gate Bridge - Celebrating 75 Years

The 2011 Marin County Fair will kick off the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Golden Gate Bridge over the July 4th weekend. There'll be exciting events and exhibits, thrilling rides and attractions, and of course, plenty of world-class entertainment. Don't miss ppectacular fair concerts! As always, the Fair promises entertainment for all ages, innovative and exciting exhibits, fun rides, adorable farm animals, and every night of the Fair the sky will be filled with a dazzling fireworks display by Pyro-Spectaculars!  All concerts are included with gate admission to the Fair.  Three Dog Night

The original members of the band play their classic hits including Mama Told Me (Not To Come), Joy to the World, and Black and White. From 1969-1974, no other group achieved more top 10 hits or sold more concert tickets than Three Dog Night.

Friday, July 1, 7:30 p.m.

United States Air Force
Band

Sunday, July 3, 2 p.m.
This prestigious, 45-piece ensemble will perform a variety of music, including classical, Big Band, Broadway, pop and patriotic arrangements. The Band of the Golden West, stationed at Travis Air Force Base, is the only remaining active duty Air Force band west of the Rockies.

The Pointer Sisters
Sunday, July 3, 7:30 p.m.
This iconic group has made music history with such chart toppers as Bruce Springsteen's Fire, as well as He's So Shy, Slow Hand, I'm So Excited, Jump (For My Love), Automatic and Neutron Dance, all of which were staples on MTV and radio stations worldwide.  

Preservation Hall Jazz Band
Monday, July 4, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Boasting direct lineage from the earliest incarnation of New Orleans jazz, the current roster of band members features some of the "Crescent City's" finest and most exciting musicians.

 The Temptations
Monday, July 4, 7:30 p.m.
Winners of four Grammy Awards, 18 number one Billboard singles, 23 top ten singles and 10 top ten albums, their live stage show, complete with a 15-piece band, is an experience that "wows" audiences around the world.
