Comedy Wednesday with America's Premier Political Comic Will Durst, Deb & Mike and Special Guests

Legendary political comic Will Durst headlines George's Nightclub. Durst's sharp take on current events has earned him five Emmy nominations; he regularly appears on CNN, NPR, and C-SPAN, mocking the follies and pretensions of the nation's political elite. He's made over 400 TV appearances, including Letterman, Comedy Central, HBO and Showtime, and holds the record for most appearances by a comic on C-SPAN. As the sacred cows practically beg to have their pomposity punctured, America cries out for a man with the aim, strength and style to hit them where it hurts the funniest. Will Durst is that man. Sweeping both sides of the aisle with a mix of incredulity and common sense, Durst transcends party ties, having performed at events honoring former Presidents Bill Clinton and George HW Bush as well as speaking at both a Mayors Convention and Governors Conference. Outraged and outrageous and as current as today’s headlines, his is a comedy for people who read or know someone who does. Joining him will be the wildest and most creative comedy team to emerge from San Francisco, Debi Durst & Michael Bossier (Deb & Mike)! They have been regaling audiences with their wacky zany antics since the dawn of time. Forged in the crucible of the influential San Francisco comedy scene of the early 80s, the two improvisers extraordinaire have been stalwart members, if not founders, of such comedy groups as The Committee, The Comedy Store Players, Femprov, The Comedy Underground, The National Theater of the Deranged and The Dinosaurs of Improv.
