Beginning:
To guide students through a progressive understanding of the complex nature of the ceramic medium. The course covers all basic techniques of forming and decorating clay through a series of practical demonstrations and specific assignments given to each new technique presented. Hand building and throwing are a part of this course and learning contemporary ways of combining the two. Mid fire earthenware is used in the studio studio to create works that have strength and are food safe.
Intermediate:
The course is organized to stimulate student who already have a basic experience in ceramics towards increasing their technical abilities and towards creating their own personal style in clay.
