AUDITION FOR THE CHERRY ORCHARD

The College of Marin Drama Department will hold auditions for Anton Chekhov’s classic masterpiece

THE CHERRY ORCHARD (the van Itallie version) on Monday, October 10, 7-10 pm.  The production will be directed by W. Allen Taylor.  Auditions will be held in PV #11 (in the Portable Village, behind the gym just off College Avenue across the street from Woodlands Market and Gas Station in Kentfield).  Call backs will be on Saturday, October 15 10 am to 1 pm, also in PV #11.

There are speaking roles for 8 men and 5 women.  Those auditioning need to prepare a two minute monolog, either serious or comedic, not from THE CHERRY ORCHARD.  Auditions will be by appointment only.  Call 415-485-9555 to schedule an appointment. 

Rehearsals for THE CHERRY ORCHARD begin on Monday, October 17th.  Performance dates are December 1, (Pay What You Will Preview), 2, 3, 8, 9, 16 and 17 at 8 pm and on December 11 and 18 at 2 pm.  This is a non AEA production and there is no pay.  Class registration is required.
