In this delightful and racy sequel to her hit 2007 comedy 2 Days in Paris, Julie Delpy picks up her character, the French photographer Marion, in another city and another relationship. Marion and radio journalist Mingus (Chris Rock) live cozily in a New York apartment with their cat and two children (one hers, one his) from previous relationships. But when Marion's anarchist father (Delpy's real-life dad, Albert Delpy), her oversexed sister (Alexia Landeau), and her sister's sleazy boyfriend (Alex Nahon), unceremoniously descend on them for a visit, the time-honored ritual of "meeting the relatives" devolves into two days of family mayhem, Can Marion and Mingus keep it all together? With Dylan Baker, Daniel Brühl. In English and French with English subtitles. Rated R for language, sexual content, some drug use and brief nudity. Writers: July Delpy, Alexia Landeau. Director: Julie Delpy. (France/US 2012) 91 min.
