15th Annual Stepping Out: An Evening In Paris

To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation will honor and celebrate the lives of women and men diagnosed with breast cancer at their 15th Annual Stepping Out: An Evening in Paris – gala and fashion show. Stepping Out To Celebrate Life has become one of Marin County's most eagerly anticipated evenings. The event raises funds for the Foundation's grants program which distributes funds to Bay Area organizations that provide support programs, early detection screening, and emotional and educational services for people living with breast cancer. The gala includes a cocktail reception beginning at 5:30pm, followed by dinner, the fashion show, live auction with Fund A Need, and a raffle featuring valuable prizes.  To round off the festivities there will be dancing to the music of The Fundamentals.

The fashion show features over thirty models, all breast cancer survivors, wearing spectacular clothing and accessories from boutiques and national clothiers. San Rafael-based Noy Design has created 10 one-of-a-kind looks especially for the models. Rock legend Sammy Hagar and prominent physicians from our medical community will escort breast cancer survivor models on an emotional and uplifting walk down the runway.  Shadow Optix, founded by John Gray who was part of the winning dance crew in America's Best Dance Crew, will be the opening act before the fashion show.

In conjunction with the fabulous Live Auction at the event, there will be an online Silent Auction, www.biddingforgood.com/tocelebratelife  Bidding opens September 1 and closes September 30. The drawing for valuable raffle prizes follows the live auction.
