Does your kid have musical talent? Grease willbe held on Friday, April 20, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the . Children from age 8 to 18 are welcome and should be prepared to sing a song!

Celebrate the earth this Saturday at the Civic Center Lagoon Park. The is a fun, free event for all ages with the goal of galvanizing a greater level of community action on environmental issues. The event includes music, speakers, workshops, a teen-led TeenSpot & stage, a kid zone and the leading organizations, businesses, agencies and others moving us towards our a healthy environmental and positive future. The event is free and goes from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For over six decades, our lives have been enriched by the talents of the singer, dancer and actress who will always be known as “America’s Sweetheart.”  From Three Little Words with Fred Astaire and Red Skelton to Singin’ in the Rain with Gene Kelly and Donald O’Connor to the Oscar nominated The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Debbie Reynolds quickly became one of Hollywood’s most sought after female stars.

I can't say that I look forward to going there (sick pets are always difficult), but I am sure glad they are here for us when we need them!
