Youth Directing, Summer School and Community Support

From local filmmaking to supporting your community, this is what you need to know May 31.

Here's the five things you need to know today:

1.  Attention San Rafael youth! Are you a budding filmmaker or on air TV host? The Marin Youth Center airs two weekly programs on local channel 26. Join the production team or submit your own videos to be aired. Visit here for more information.

2.  Today is the application deadline for San Rafael teachers hoping to fill some summer hours, most needed are U.S. History, Geography, English and Biology teachers. Click here for the application.

3.  The hosts it’s Women’s Divorce Support Group tonight at 6 p.m. Topics include self-esteem, empowerment and recovery from difficult feelings/situations. Registration required.

4.  Today is the last day to sign your child up for Dominican University’s Summer Odyssey. Designed for gifted students grade levels 2-9 this program will challenge the intellect and stretch the imagination. Apply here.
