Little Chefs, Motion Institute, Toots at the Fair
From cooking classes for the little ones to reggae legends Toots and the Maytals, this is what you need to know today.
Here's what you need to know today:
1. San Rafael School District has appointed a new Human Resources Director, Kathleen McClure and today is her very first day on the job. Good luck Kathleen!
2. Little Chefs, a program from the begins at 10:00 a.m. Two to five year olds will learn basic food preparation concepts - mixing, stirring, spreading, measuring, mashing and more.
3. The Motion Institute is offering level one teacher training. Motion Theater® is a movement and narrative based expressive art form that incorporates movement/dance, vocalizing, storytelling and performance in an integrated practice that is both therapeutic and artful. 4. The California Food Handler Card law goes into effect today but will not be enforced until January 1st, 2012, due to questions about the new law.
5. Reggae legends Toots & The Maytals will be rocking the Marin County Fair at 7:30 p.m.
