Halloween Spider Web Tangles Live Owl
Fake decorations prove to be a hazard to some animals.
Make sure your Halloween decorations don't trap any live animals, like this owl in a San Rafael yard.
Carrie Harrington, spokeswoman for the Marin Humane Society, sent these photos of an owl trapped in light green spider web decorations. Corporal Dave Stapp of MHS Animal Services freed the bird, she said.
The owl was stuck for several hours and was dehydrated, but tranported to WildCare, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
