Yoga in the Park

Our 7th annual Yoga event will take place at McNears Beach Park. Participants will begin with a one hour beach clean-up and then switch gears to enjoy a half hour yoga class on the grass. The class will be lead by professional yoga teacher Daniel Rauck, and will be appropriate for all ages and ability levels. This is a great opportunity for first time yoga class participants, or those looking to take their practice to a spectacular new level and location. We will wrap up the day with a potluck by the water. Park staff will provide clean-up supplies, potluck contributions, and a limited number of towels for use during yoga. Please bring a food dish or beverage of your choice, a towel or yoga mat, water, and sunscreen. RSVP’s are appreciated but not required. To RSVP or for additional information, contact Volunteer Coordinator Kirk Schroeder at (415) 473-2823 or kschroeder@marincounty.org. Parking fee is waived for volunteers. Meet beside the fishing pier at McNears Beach Park, 201 Cantera Way, San Rafael.
