Baby Owls Rescued after Hawk Attack

The three owls are now safe at WildCare, according to the Marin Humane Society.

Three baby great horned owls that were rescued near Star Academy in San Rafael this morning, according to the Marin Humane Society.

The animals were rescued by Animal Services Officer Andy O’ Brien after a red-tailed hawk attacked their nest, causing them to fall to the ground. They are now resting comfortably at WildCare, according to Carrie Harrington, director of communications for the Marin Humane Society. 

"It’s baby wildlife season!" she said.
