New K-8 Charter School Option for Marin Families
Pivot Charter School, North Bay, an accredited, public charter school, will hold an informational meeting to gauge parental interest in a new charter school program located in Novato, which would offer an innovative educational choice for elementary and middle school aged children. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11th at the Best Western Novato Oaks Inn located at 215 Alameda del Prado in Novato. Spanish translation will be available.
Pivot Charter School, North Bay is proposing a new independent study resource center opening in Novato for the 2014-2015 school year. This elementary and middle school program would be free and open to any interested North Bay family and will feature:
Core Knowledge, a rigorous, detailed and sequential curriculum that is aligned with Common Core State Standards
