Join Community Leaders and Volunteers at the Heart of Marin Awards!

Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership (Center) received 135 nominations for the 21st Annual Heart of Marin Awards. The recipients will be announced at an Awards Ceremony and Luncheon to be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Nominees will be honored for their civic involvement and contributions within the community and be presented with awards in the following categories: Volunteer of the Year, Excellence in Leadership, Achievement in Nonprofit Excellence, Excellence in Board Leadership, Youth Volunteer of the Year, Corporate Community Service and Excellence in Innovation. 
For 21 years the Center has produced the event, which gives $35,000 to nonprofits and the committed individuals who serve them. Emmy winning producer, entertainment reporter and film critic at KRON-TV and KCBS radio Jan Wahl will emcee the event.

Tickets to the 21st Annual Heart of Marin Awards Ceremony and Luncheon can be purchased online at www.cvnl.org. Individual seats are $60.00 per person and a traditional table of ten is $600. There are two opportunities for table sponsorships – Silver Table, $800, and Gold Table, $1,000. Purchasing a table helps to offset the cost for Youth Volunteer Nominees and their families to attend.
