Whistlestop is recruiting volunteers to shop for and deliver groceries to homebound Older Adults in San Rafael. Volunteers meet each Thursday morning at San Rafael Safeway to shop for and deliver the groceries. The Home Delivered Grocery program is one of many services provided by Whistlestop that help San Rafael Older Adults maintain independent living. The cost of delivery is FREE, Older Adults pay only for the groceries they order. Please call the Program Coordinator at 456-9062 to volunteer.
