Founded by 17-year-old twins Dana & Dalia Buzon, One Motive Arts' goal is to encourage young people to make art their profession by giving them a venue to offer their work for sale, along with encouragement, and awarding scholarships for college bound students.
The Marin History Museum was founded in 1935, and celebrates the traditions of innovation and creativity of the people of Marin County. Through exhibitions and innovative educational programs, the Museum inspires honor for the past, an understanding of the present, and an imagination of the future. The museum is located on the former Boyd Estate in San Rafael, former home of Arctic Explorer and adventurer Louise Arner Boyd.
The Marin History Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and therefore all donations are tax deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines. The museum does not receive tax dollars from the city, county, state or federal government and therefore relies completely on the public's tax-deductible contributions.
One Motive Arts and the Marin History Museum are currently recruiting young artists to participate in art projects that will inspire students to create their uniquely inspired artwork with the use of the museum's artifacts. A special premier event to be announced will be held at the museum to honor these young artists!
If you are 14 to 18 years old and interested in participating in the upcoming programs, contact One Motive Arts at 415 408-8974 or email at email@example.com.
