Be the Voice for a Child - Become a CASA Volunteer!

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers are needed to work with children who are dependents of the court as a result of having been abused, neglected or abandoned. CASA Volunteers are sworn officers of the court, appointed by a judge to investigate and report on the best interests of children. Volunteers, who must be 21 years of age, undergo a thorough background and screening process and complete approximately 36 hours of initial training. This is a unique opportunity to work with dedicated professionals, and to help give children a powerful voice in court.

Screening interviews are being held now in preparation for our upcoming training in October 29, 2012.

It would be nice if the comments section had "Thumbs up / Thumbs down" like the PressRead More Democrat.
